I recently decided to renovate my home office and literally found Sustainable Office Solutions while picking up glass at a business next door to them in Liverpool. I came into the office at a time when Keith was the only person available and he was very helpful and made me feel like a very important customer even though I was simply talking about a home office. He left a note for JJ to contact me which he did promptly and I set up a time to meet with him at the office. JJ helped to show me the options available and was very helpful in answering all my questions. When I came back in to finalize decisions JJ and Chris helped me by showing computer diagrams with a couple of options that might work. Once I purchased the furniture everything moved ahead very smoothly from scheduling delivery to installation. The installation team was very professional in how they delivered, installed and cleaned up after work was completed. We would like to take this opportunity to share our experience with JDS Consulting, LLC as well as Sustainable Office Solutions, LLC., both of which are very involved with the Sustainable Upstate Network (SUN Group). The SUN Group’s mission is to encourage and make it possible for all businesses to be a part of the recycling and refurbishing of everything possible in the name of saving our environment.
On July 11, our building in downtown Syracuse which housed our law firm for thirty years became flooded caused by faulty plumbing on our third floor. As a result our entire office space, which occupied three floors, was abruptly destroyed and our law firm paralyzed. On that date, all office communications and functions of any kind were terminated and we no longer had a business or a place to operate it. We were able to obtain interim office space on an emergency basis, however, we were left with nothing to resume our business in our new space. As a business, we were devastated and feeling lost.
On Friday July 12 we contacted Andy Picco, CEO of Sustainable Office Solutions, LLC, based upon our long term relationship with him and his service reputation. He has been our office furnishing go-to guy for many years. Andy and his staff went to work immediately to secure sustainable office furnishings to assist in getting our offices up and running in the newly rented space. Andy Picco further provided us with a contact for telephone equipment and service, of equal importance in order to resume business.
On Monday, July 15, Andy Picco contacted Scott Harris of JDS Consulting, LLC and asked for his assistance with our immediate needs. Scott Harris and his right hand man Dick Schad, presented at our office space on that date. They assessed or needs and were already equipped to offer a very suitable solution to our telephone needs. On that same day they very promptly and efficiently installed the refurbished telephone service and equipment and by midday we were once again in operation and able to communicate in all respects. Before Scott and Dick left our office they made sure each and every one of us was fully informed of the system itself and answered any and all questions in that regard. Anytime we have had the need for any follow up with JDS, it has been a positive experience dealing with Scott Harris who continues to be pleasant and more than willing to do whatever is necessary to keep his customer happy.
It is refreshing in today’s busy professional atmosphere to have experienced such efficiency in our time of need. We were at our most vulnerable state during our crisis, moving rapidly in numerous directions to take care of our clientele and their needs during the office interruption.
